There’s a great selection of blended teas available, and you can also enjoy afternoon tea complete with tea sandwiches and scones, which is a delightful rarity. Will, the owner, is an exceptional host. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating.
The ambiance of the 1920s jazz, the delicious food, the warm hospitality from owner William, and of course the tea, all make for an incredible experience. Will and his mother are truly remarkable; just being served by them is a delight. Will is attentive and personable, frequently checking in to ensure you're enjoying yourself. Let his extensive knowledge of the tea selection and freshly baked pastries help you find exactly what suits your mood and appetite. The atmosphere is intimate, cozy, friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious!
I can't rate the food as of yet because I'm gluten free and that's not part of their usual fare, but Will told us that if I let him know I'm coming he'll have something for me.The atmosphere is lovely, this little tucked away space, like a secret gem. Lots of plants, mostly music in French, lot of wood based on the construction. Mostly outdoor seating with some protection from the wind. Will is the sweetest and most accommodating guy I've met. He knows his teas and you can tell him what you're looking for, and he'll be happy to mix you a blend. He's so friendly and happy to connect to folks. For LGBTQ+ folks, he's good people (I frequently bring my dates here). I always feel taken care of here and happy to spend an hour slowly drinking a $9 large pot of tea in a lovely space .Vegetarian options: A lot of baked goodsParking: Plenty of parking extremely closebyWheelchair accessibility: It's all on one floor. Small graded lip to enter, but can also just go to the outdoor seating and tables are wide enough for a wheelchair.Dietary restrictions: He's starting to have more gf options, but not a ton as of yet.
Will, his mom, niece and the staff are amazing. I always feel such a warm welcome when I visit. I've visited this place for the last several years and still have some loose leaf teas I'm still going through. It's a very chill place for tea time or enjoying some me time on the patio. Occasionally, I come here for a nice catch up with friends. Recently, we had a baby shower for work and they were accommodating. We were able to set up some decor prior to guest arrivals. There were plenty of teas, sandwiches, salads and baked goods to go around. My favorite was the spiced cookies and the jam! Also, they have specialty chocolates which is a nice treat to get.
My friends, I almost do not want to tell you how wonderful this place is! My best friend and I enjoyed a delicious and delightful tea for two today out on a covered patio that was obviously full of friends new and old catching up. Our salad was light and perfectly dressed, the sandwiches were impeccable and the scones with lemon curd and cream were to die for and then the owner arrived to turn on the heaters and just added a whole extra level of fabulous to our experience. Incredible value for the cost, home made baked goods created with care and love, and a definite sassy vibe that will definitely make us visit again. Thank you Leland Tea! We promise we will only come for your baked goods to eat them :D
