Panda Express - Burlingame

Panda Express consistently maintains high quality from one location to another, and the Burlingame branch lived up to that standard.

The Panda Express in Burlingame, CA is quite a bustling spot. The dining area is consistently clean and well-kept. This location is always busy and ready to welcome customers. I really appreciate the consistent availability and freshness of the food, thanks to the high turnover rate. However, during my recent visit in August 2022, a customer brought two dogs into the dining room, and their barking made it difficult for me to enjoy my meal. Aside from that distraction, I really like this place.

The food was delicious, but it's difficult to spot this hidden gem from the street due to the many shops clustered around it.

So, I went to the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. The manager, MON, was completely rude and unwilling to understand that, while the order had indeed been placed, there might have been an issue with how it was handled by his staff. He shifted the blame onto us instead of acknowledging that someone left with the wrong order. When I asked for a refund, before giving me my money back, he took a photo of my ID and handed me $20 in cash, apparently to document it in case it turned into a legal issue. The behavior of the employees was completely unprofessional and incompetent.

Panda Express has constant quality from restaurant to restaurant, and the Burlingame Spot has not disappointed.
