The atmosphere has an intriguing, quirky vibe, and the imported foods are reasonably priced. Personally, I see nothing wrong with it.
This place should really be called INDIAN STORE instead of Asian, as there are no Filipino products available here. The establishment is also not very well maintained. On a positive note, there is a parking lot available.
This place offers an impressive selection of products, including budget-friendly produce! The vegetables are much more affordable here compared to Jake's next door. Additionally, there’s a great variety of high-quality ingredients suitable for preparing a range of East and South Asian dishes.
Central Market is my favorite grocery store in downtown Burlington. Forget City Market, just go here. It's an authentic, family owned neighborhood Indian grocery, and one of the places that makes a trip into downtown Burlington worthwhile. Prices are always inexpensive, and and very fair, so don't worry about lack of price tags, just get what you need.
The store had locally sourced fresh produce. The limited interaction I had with the staff was alright. I am not sure if they are open to suggestion. I had limited time to shop and my decision making was impaired with no price tag on 70% of the items. I shared my view with the staff and he mentioned that you could just ask any staff member. I wonder how many times do I ask to get my shopping done. I was happy with what I brought home but at the same time disappointed not to find basic stuff like paneer, onion seeds, besan etc.
