So disappointed with our visit, and we used to like Delancy's very much. Tables weren't cleaned, silverware wasn't brought until after the food was delivered, fried food was soaked in grease, no butter for cornbread or lemon for tea, had to ask twice for tartar sauce and then it was inedible (tasted like blue cheese dressing). No server ever checked on us after the food was brought out. We try to be understanding that after Covid, many restaurants are short-staffed and that could be part of the problem, but the experience was very bad.

Food was okay. Only my second time here in 15 years Staff is unfriendly and snappy when asked a question. Should have walked out.

Hannah the sever was excellent. But the food and bar service were a disappointment . The steak was over cooked. French onion mediocre. We were forgotten about. Water took forty minutes and the ice was melted.

I stopped here for lunch while in town for business. I tried the Salmon patty lunch plate and it was very good. Probably the best I have had at a restaurant.

First visit. Grilled chops and fried okra good. Green beans too greasy with what looked like butter and very bland. Needed fatback seasoning instead of butter and a little sugar. Husband's catfish overfried and one piece tasted like mud. His cream potatoes bland. Will give another try.
