Harusaki Sushi - Burlington

I recently visited my local Asian restaurant, and while I found the food to be quite good, I was let down by their takeout policies. I was surprised to discover that ordering takeout incurs extra charges for seemingly basic items, such as $1 for a 2 oz portion of white sauce, which is offered free to dine-in customers. This feels unfair, especially in light of the recent price increase at the restaurant. For dishes costing between $16 and $20, these additional charges are not very appealing. I hope the restaurant will reconsider its takeout pricing policies to create a more consistent and equitable experience for all patrons.

Our waitress was pleasant and seemed to be the only staff member working. Meanwhile, the manager was sitting at a nearby table, making business phone calls on speakerphone. It was quite distracting to hear her discuss the low prices she was paying for chicken and zucchini, completely overshadowing the conversations of other patrons. After finishing one call, she immediately started another, still on speakerphone. I was honestly shocked that a manager would behave in such a manner; if an employee acted like that, they would likely face disciplinary action or termination. As for the food, I ordered the AAC roll, which is supposed to contain asparagus, avocado, and cucumber. Unfortunately, the nori was soggy, and my roll was missing the asparagus altogether. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

This restaurant received a top-notch rating across the board. The food was outstanding, particularly the sushi, which I highly recommend. The service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was inviting. It’s a great spot for a delicious lunch at a reasonable price!
