Michelle's Kitchen Table - Burlington

The waitress we had was very attentive and checked for us without being intrusive. The food was well prepared and very delicious.

Unfortunately, our food was almost unusable. Both the grilled chicken on my salad and the tuna of my husband tasted strongly of gas (as if the gas was too high from the hob and was not completely consumed as a flame before the food was contacted). My husband ordered his tuna medium and it was rarely served. We sent it back so that he watched me eat and then I watched him eat what is generally unacceptable and certainly not at this price point. We have eaten in this restaurant in the past and enjoyed it, but due to this experience I doubt that we will return. Very disappointing, least to say.

Gray place for any occasion, wonderful food and atmosphere.

Our favorite Burlington restaurant. The menu is always imaginative, with plenty of variety, but not too long. The food quality is consistently excellent. The wine list is well chosen, and the bartender does good work.

My wife and I drove an hour each way for dinner at Michelle's. Neither of us knew anything about the place up front. I found it through an internet search of venues nearby that had music. The musician who was scheduled to play there was appealing so we gambled on the food. In this case, our gamble payed off in spades. The food was excellent! The bar was well stocked and I was able to get my favorite cocktail with no problem. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was nice, and the manager was very gracious. All in all, we had a remarkable time and I won't hesitate to make the drive there again.
