I wonder if they make things on request? Will probably go back to try something else or get the same thing. ?
Called for help with a product and even though I didn’t order here they are extremely knowledgeable and customer service is outstanding!! Will remember them for the future!
I grew up in Burlington and Clarke's was a very well known bakery with delicious baked goods. I have now moved to another city and the past 2 times I returned to Burlington in the past 2 months, I stopped at Clarke's. I do not know what has changed, but the bakery has gone completely downhill. The bread was dry and crumbly. Their signature smiley face cookies had a weird taste (bad enough my son took 2 bites and didn't want it anymore). The butter tarts were absolutely disgusting- the shell tasted like onion and the filling had no taste. The chocolate coconut bar I brought home for my husband had multiple long hairs baked into it.Not the same bakery as it used to be and with the weird flavors and hair I seriously question the sanitation in this place. Won't be making the effort to return.
Best banana bread we’ve ever had!! Not to mention the other delicious baked goods we’ve tried! Will definitely be adding this bakery as a frequent stop on my way home from work!
Just finished their Beef Bourguignon Pie for dinner . YUM!!!
