I ordered the delivery, the pizza was not made right...no problem right. I called the store to explain and he left. I scream and yell at me, told me he doesn't need my business... no problem we never go back. This man has to learn that this is not the way you solve problems. I wish them good luck to stay open.
I dive into this place every time, for a quick bite after work. I love the selection of pizza slices I find they have the best thin crust. You have Brio available in the can I find hard to find in other restaurants.
I was in a rush and decided to quickly stop at Mamma's Pizza. I noticed a sign advertising a good price for a pickup pizza, so I decided to give it a try. The pizza was delicious and I also noticed the other pizzas coming out of the oven that looked appetizing. The only downside was that the specialty pizzas were a bit on the pricey side compared to the regular options.
I went to Mama's pizza to order one of her pizzas with vegan Monterey Jack cheese, as I didn't eat milk in just four years. Both very hungry and only on my 15 minutes break from the next door Starbucks, I ate a lot of pizza before I learned it wasn't Monterey Jack. I was hoping it was just the vegan mozzerella. Shortly after that my stomach started to tear and I felt uncomfortable. I was suspicious at this point that it wasn't a vegan cheese at all. I asked the employee behind the desk who assured me that it was what I ordered, so I got a second and third opinion from my employees who both agreed that it was not. I went back, felt worse to ask for my money back. The employee behind the desk fought against my claim and when I demanded to be reimbursed, he said he had to call his manager. After talking to his manager for about a minute, in a language I don't speak, he gave the phone. The manager, without having been in the store from the point I ordered, told me that it was absolutely vegan. I told him I wanted my money back. He said if you had eaten the pizza, you'd be sick of our pizza in 48 hours, you'd know. He then blamed the food I had eaten today. I kept asking my money back and after the sixth time he says you work at Starbucks!? I'm just doing 'cause you work at Starbucks*, you'll put your money back. Take what you want. I will never go back in, because this has been handled by employees and management. Not for ****. We all screw up sometimes, that's futile. However, I am very disappointed by the experience of dealing with a manager who cries and implies customers as a liar. Be careful. Below is a picture of what clearly not vegan Monterey Jack cheese.
I ordered a cheese pizza in extra-large size with a side of popcorn and soda for delivery. The order arrived quickly, but I found the pizza to be average and somewhat disappointing. I believe it could have had more sauce. Surprisingly, the pizza tasted better as leftovers the following day, which redeemed the overall experience.
