Osmow's Shawarma - Burlington

I decided to try this restaurant because they advertise fresh food. However, I think "fresh" means it was prepared yesterday! I ordered the chicken on the rocks, but the rice was cold and tasteless. The chicken was dry, the garlic sauce resembled mayonnaise, and the hot sauce was simply spicy without any real flavor. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

I don't want to be difficult, but I've been to several Osmow's locations. The employee didn’t apply the garlic sauce properly to my order, so I kindly asked him to fix it. Instead of addressing the issue, he charged me extra, which prompted me to leave without paying. The service was really disappointing.

I am incredibly pleased with their food—every dish is delicious and completely halal. In my view, their lamb shawarma is the standout. I frequently order the daily specials, too. I've been a loyal customer for over a year. The photo shows their chicken kebab, which is absolutely scrumptious!

I ordered a falafel wrap with chicken, half and half, but unfortunately, the fries were soggy and the wrap was made with expired vegetables. Furthermore, the grill appeared to be unclean. When I raised these concerns with the staff, he was dismissive and rude, which I found quite unprofessional. Overall, it was a disappointing and unhygienic experience.

The food was stale and definitely lacked freshness. My pita was dry and barely had any filling. I found it unreasonable to charge extra for sauces; I've never encountered a shawarma place that does that. It's understandable to charge for premium toppings, but charging for sauces is excessive. Since I work in the mall, I won’t be coming back for lunch.
