Service was great, you could tell folks are treated well because they were genuinely pleasant. I was really surprised by the cleanliness of the outdoor tables! I rarely sit outside because restaurants usually neglect their tables, but it was a gorgeous day and the tables were legitimately spotless.
This Starbucks has extraordinary service! The staff here truly and thoroughly enjoy what they do and that translated into effortless warm customer service. I always feel welcome here and engage in regular banter with the staff here. Granted Starbucks is not your artisinal family run coffee shop but this location is unique in that sense. Five+ stars! ?? ? ??
You've just lost one of your regular customers because of your staff this morning, July 7 2023. The sign on the window says you open at six thirty. I arrived at six fifty-three. Apparently, your sign is wrong. Instead of your employee explaining the incorrect time on the sign, she yelled at me through the window. What made it worse was I was only seven minutes early, and she could have easily made a different choice, opened the window, and quietly explained that to me. I understand it's difficult to get staff. But that does not mean they are excused from being polite to people. One of her choices could have been to take my order 7 minutes early. Another would have been to say she would talk to the manager about the incorrect sign posting. If a calmer conversation was had, my review today would have been totally opposite to this one. Her choice to be misserable today will affect not only her, but I'm guessing everyone else on her shift and the people she interacts with. The irony is that the Starbucks that I did go to up the road was such the opposite and so pleasant, which is another reason I felt I needed to comment this HUGE disparity in customer service.
I went in today and the barista/cashier just finished completing the order in front of me. Instead of taking my order, she proceeded to talk with the other customer for 7 minutes. She saw me waiting, but didn't acknowledge me at all. She actually took out her cell phone and showed the other person her photos, her facebook page and talked about her trips to Montrel. This is absolutely unacceptable! I gave up waiting and left without ordering, and I will never walk through those doors again. Worst Starbucks I have even been to. Horrible and complete lack of ustomer service.
