That Pie Place - Burlington

I went to the pie place for the first time tonight. the owner, jamie, took the time to chat with me for likely 15-20 minutes. very nice guy! I bought 5 hearty cakes, and he threw one free. tonight I baked the steak and cheesecake. follow the directions to make an egg wash up, bake and let it sit for 15 minutes before eating. the first bite I took, I literally said “Oh my God!” this is literally the best cake I have ever tasted in my life! Many thanks for the chat, jamie! I look forward to trying the other cakes I bought! will definitely go back to see them and get them more cake!

They made me a strawberry rhob cake and it was amazing. the crust was so good that it melts in the mouth. I loved the fruit combination I chose and will buy it again. many thanks to the owners, they were super friendly.

Bought butter tarts wow, amazing taste. I will buy them again. One consideration they smelled like the meat pies ie. onions, garlic, etc. We thought it was the packaging so we took them all out of the package and put them in our own container. That helped, but still a hint of the smell and taste 48 hours later. One family member was so thrown off by the smell and wouldn’t eat the butter tarts. Suggestion find another way to package and store them. I would be hesitant to buy a fruit pie for the same reason. It’s too bad.

Had the Shepherd's Pie for lunch....AWESOME!!! The flavour, texture...everything was perfect. Might just become my new favourite!

My Wife popped in today and bought me a Steak and Guiness pie for a surprise . I am surprised Buggs Bunny hadn't bought all of them, More carrot than anything in it. Disappointed . I received a response from “ The Pie Place “ after I posted this review…..Snarkasm…..
