The Works - Burlington

Lovely atmosphere. The menu is overwhelming if you're looking to do a burger. I went with the sexy burger, absolutely delicious and highly recommend. There are a ton of options. Friendly staff. Loved the measuring cup glasses. Will definitely be back.

My family and i stayed in Burlington, Ontario on vacation from Maryland, U.S.A. We stopped in The Works for dinner and were really glad we did. We lucked out with timing as we did not have to wait for a table. Got there just before the crowd arrived. Our server (Mattie or Maddie?) was awesome and did a great job. This is where I tried Poutine for the first time and loved it. The food was great but unfortunately, they have a law where the burgers must be cooked well done. I always prefer mine medium so they are juicy, but this was not an option in Canada. Regardless, the burgers were still very good and flavorful. If you visit Burlington which is a very nice small city or are on your way to Toronto, stop and enjoy this place. It is well worth it!

The food and service was awesome! The hostess was great to accommodate our group of 6. She was friendly and helpful. Our server was very helpful and attentive. The menu recommendations were perfect. Our out of town guests said these were the best burgers they ever had. The burgers our group had: The Tom Green, Man Cave, The Hipster, Barking at My Cow and the Plain Jack Jr.

Burger choices were plentiful and we were extremely pleased with presentation and flavour. One member of part insisted that his burger be cooked closer to well done and kitchen complied. I however found a hair in my fries which really turned me off the whole experience. No one else had this issue. I'd probably go back although there are numerous other options I'd probably consider first. I didn't make an issue of this with the server. Value was OK.

We had a great day spending time with our boy who is over studying here and wanted to experience a good burger so we were recommended to go to The Works. The place was very busy as there was a food festival on in the village, the waitress was great she took our names and said a possible 15 minute wait but wasn't that long before we were seated. It was worth the short wait. I had the naked burger and sweet potato fries , my husband had the cave man burger and my son the cave man burger with cheese in the middle all of us loved what we had the burgers were lovely and juicy. The atmosphere was good nice choice of music in the background and we loved the decor.
