Turtle Jack's Mapleview - Burlington

After a long drive, I stopped in at this TJs location for some food.I got the raw tuna poke bowl. After I was about half way through my meal, I noticed a fruit fly in my food. No big deal. I work in the industry. A fruit fly can happen. But then I noticed a second fruit fly in my meal. Then a third…this continued until I decided to stop digging for them. Six total. There were six fruit flies in my raw tuna poke bowl.Now, the staff member serving me did apologize and took care of my bill. But the severity of the situation seemed to be lost on this person.No manager came by to apologize of behalf of the establishment.This was several flies in a dish that consisted of raw meat. And apparently taking care of my bill only meant that I wanted one drink, as I was not offered another one…I had to ask. I was also half way through my meal…still hungry and was not offered if I would like anything else to eat…not that I would want to take the risk at that point.Overall I was disgusted and extremely disappointed with the lack of care taken. If they were not going to offer me something else to eat, you think I would have been offered a second beverage once my first one was done.

Meh. I was not a fan of the Caesar; it doesn't even look that nice in the picture and I'm sorry to say that because I usually have very nice reviews, however in my defense the pepperette was mushy and the havarti square didn't need to be there. The food was ok. We had three different staff serve us at first but the gentleman we had in the end was awesome and took care of us very well. For someone who spends a lot of time up north there is little North reflected in this Muskoka Grill.

Love Turtle Jack's! Always have a good experience and you get value for your buck. Lots of food to fill you up and great menu!!

Can't talk about the food since I never even got to order. Waited 25 minutes after being seated nobody ever came to the table. Really fantastic service.

Been clients of TJ's for years, Always good food and comfortable surroundings.
