Focused primarily on grilled meats and salads - the portions are huge.On my last visit, I had the Beyti Sarma: a skewer of ground beef and lamb kofte served with lavash bread with salads ($19). I almost burst. The Mixed Kabob ($22) is a combination of their kabobs and could feed 2 or 3 people...it's huge. The salads and sides like the Carrot Salad & Babaghannush are really exceptional. The one drawback would be the dining room itself - I really shouldn't complain but the lighting and set-up are institutional and drab. I just wouldn't want to recommend it and someone goes expecting a quaint dining room...it's not like that. BUT the food is so good...one can overlook this.
This one of the good places for Mediterranean food, the name indicates Turkish cuisine. the place is cozy but not fancy, food is good but I doubt any of the chefs is Turkish. I tasted this food in Istanbul and I can say that it is not the same but at least is a good place to find this kind of food.
We were visiting Vancouver over the weekend and looked for good food near us. We found good reviews for this restaurant and headed over. We ordered the hummus as a starter and we just fell in love with the fresh, crisp bread that came with it! It was very good and a must try. We later came in again just to have the bread and hummus before we left. That's how much we liked it. Overall the experience was a positive fun one. The waiters were helpful and easygoing - suggesting items that we could try on the menu. Our food was good and and we had a nice time of it. With reasonable prices, this was a good find. This Turkish restaurant also had that white sauce (I don't know its name but its goood) that many local Turkish restaurants sometimes ignore these days. Would definitely go again if I was ever in town again.
The best Turkish restaurant, offering delicious halal food in a fantastic atmosphere. This is a must-visit spot for great quality and taste. #tbpost #canadavisit #canadagram #dubaifoodie #vacationmode #delicious #tasty #turkishfood #halalfood #nomnom #tb #zomato #canadafood #review.
We found Anatolia’s online during a recent stay in the neighbourhood and decided to give it a try. We’ll be back for sure the salad sampler appetizer was fantastic, and the Lavash bread is straight up addictive. We shared a kebab sampler as our main dish which was also very good, but the dips and salads are unbeatable I’d consider making a full meal of that next time.
