The food is awesome, they say that they are open at 10am but it is 11 and they aren’t open... :

Had the grilled lemongrass chicken banh mi and iced coffee. Banh mi was okay. There wasn't any lemongrass flavour for the chicken. It was just a bit peppery. The iced coffee was not good at all. They just use regular dark roast coffee : for the price you're better off to go to Starbucks to get an iced coffee.

Bun Me is a new addition to SFU and I certainly hope they stay. The grilled pork banh mi is absolutely delicious with the perfect amount of fat and fantastic flavours. I came during the soft open and the staff were so enthusiastic, it was contagious. The iced coffee was a punch in the face and since then, they've toned it down and now offer condensed milk on the side. Pricing is reasonable as I'm delighted by lunch under $10. Freshness has varied sometimes the bread is so fresh and light, it's like I'm chewing air. Sometimes it's a little less fresh. Overall, they've impressed me each time I've visited and I'm so happy to have another lunch option here.

Ordered through Ubereats. I requested hoisin and chilli sauce. And apparently they do not have hoisin.. i can totally understand why.. this restaurant is more of a modern vietnamese food.. what I really appreciate the most though is that they left me a note on top of my togo box explaining to me that they do not have it but they gave me house soy sauce.. just that alone.. i can tell how great their customer service is. The food is good.. next time I would def try to dine in so they are more fresh but taste is yummy!!! Thank you !
