Caritas 9 Coffee Roasters - Burnaby

The menu is impressive in size, and I really appreciate the barista's choice option. It's a great way to encourage you to explore new flavors. The coffee was absolutely delicious! I will definitely come back if I'm in the vicinity.

The latte was just average. For a café that roasts its own beans, it seems they lack knowledge about their own product. When I asked the barista which coffee beans he was using, he told me he didn't know and that his boss was the one who selected them.

Disappointing experience. I visited a couple of years ago and really enjoyed the coffee, but today both the pour-over (Brazil) and the cortado lacked flavor. They were quite bland. What a shame.

I have been wanting to come here for quite some time but with covid, they had limited hours that didn't always work for my schedule. I finally had the time recently to check them out, and I got a hojicha latte to go. While drinking the drink, I had a thought that there wasn't too much hojicha flavour and then realized at the end that they didn't mix it and just added the milk! Was a bit disappointed by that but willingly to give them another chance when in the neighbourhood.

Had an ice americano on saturday morning, place was quiet, service was good.
