Contribuisci feedbackFort Langley was recommended to us, so we stopped by for refreshments on route to Chilliwack. The amazing display of baked goods at Saba Cafe got us. It was rather difficult to make a choice and we decided that we would have to keep coming back in order try various items. For our first visit, we chose Orange Cake and Berry Scone. The cake was sweeter than I am used to, but the slice of candied orange on top provided the necessary balance, it's like eating a succulent orange cake with orange marmalade on top. The berry scone was boring in comparison and I wish it didn't have such a generous sprinkling of rock sugar. The coffee drinks were properly made and enjoyable. I noticed that they even have Healthy Hooch Pear and Ginger Kombucha which will be nice for hotter days. The counter service staff was very courteous and pleasant. I would dearly like to try their brunch. But since we have to drive more than an hour to get here, I suspect the wait for a table will be quite long on the weekends. We will be back!
It's a really nice cafe, very tasty coffee. Interior and atmosphere are probably one of the best in the neighborhood. But they close so early! Like each time you're ready to go to a nice cafe Saba is closed. Lots of my friends have the same issue with them. Can't try their tasty treats because they're closed! Please, rethink your times of work. You'll be even more popular and profitable
Our morning began with lukewarm coffee, followed by my daughter and I ordering Eggs Benedict that turned out to be tasteless. The bun was also off somehow. Both of us couldn't finish our meals. My husband ordered the French Toast, which was soggy in the middle. The service was slow, which wasn't too much of a problem since it was a holiday, but the food was not worth the $40 we paid for it.
Saba Café has been a family favourite since the day it opened here in Fort Langley. Family owned and operated you are guaranteed the best cup of coffee, delicious baked goods made fresh ALL day long. My favourite being the vegan banana date oat and almond cookie. There simply is no other place like it. Not to mention the incredible brunch/lunch and dinner. Saba uses quality ingredients sourced locally and the BEST quality meat, poultry and seafood, along with high quality olive oil in all of their dishes, which I can really appreciate a meal made with quality organic ingredients and a whole lot of love. Saba café and Bistro has a special place in my heart for a very good reason. The staff welcome and treat you like family. Let this be your one and only stop when you visit fort langley.Wheelchair accessibility: wheelchair friendlyDietary restrictions: extremely accommodating
