Thirdly, I believe that my search for the perfect Korean stone dish meal in the lower mainland is fulfilled. Her meal begins with a beef and garlic broth served in a teapot. The broth is delicious, warm and delicious. Although there are many great items on the menu, as I mentioned earlier, I only ordered the pork and rice stone dish. When your meal arrives, resist the temptation to stir all rice, pork and vegetables together, or at least make sure to glue a slice of rice on the sides of the bowl so that it can continue to cook until it is crispy and golden and in the chili infused sesame oil that clothes the stone bowl. There is a traditional hot sauce that accompanies the court, apply liberal, or at least as much as you can tolerate. If you progress through the bowl, you will soon notice that the heat from the stone shell has torn the rice along the sides and soil. This is the reward for your patience. Enjoy every bite.
We ordered the pig bone soup. Nice and spicy. The pig bone could be boiled a little longer, as I can almost drop the meat. The sushi roll was good and fresh. Like the garlic tea?? Good choice.
Love love loves this place. Great value for authentic Korean Kimbap and all. You also have these cool cheese hotspots! They add anchovy oil to the seaweather of the Kimbap, so they are extra amazing and amazing authentic. Good price and good place for a... Quick and hearty meal.
The restaurant is actually small and although there was a waiting line on the door, our waiting time was short. The dishes we ordered quickly came out and were really good. Especially cold noodles (NaengMyeon) were the best.
I went for lunch with a friend who is familiar with Korean cuisine. We had the Rabokki (dokbokki ramen), Sundae (pronounced Soon-de, the sausage) and Dolsot Albap (stone bowl fish eggs rice). Everything we had was delicious! The Dolsot Albap also came with 2...external sauces, one spicy and one not, both were equally good with the rice. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some authentic Korean eats.
