Contribuisci feedbackThis is by far our favorite sushi restaurant in the area. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. The food is delicious, especially when enjoyed dining in rather than as takeout. Our favorite rolls are the house roll and sunshine roll. Even my daughter loves coming here to eat!
I thoroughly enjoyed the smelt karaage at this restaurant. The fish was very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and I couldn't stop eating it. The other appetizers and food were also quite good.
1. Assorted sashimi - The portion size was decent, but the fish selection could have been better. The tuna and amaebi could have been fresher considering the price. 2. Miso soup - It was nice and hot, which was a positive. It was also complimentary, which I appreciated. 3. Tamago, salmon toro, tuna toro, chopped scallop, and tsubugai nigiris - Everything was tasty and fresh, especially the tuna toro. 4. Ikura nigiris - They didn't seem very fresh, so I only tried a few eggs before deciding not to eat them to avoid any stomach issues. Overall, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was casual. My previous experience at their Coquitlam location was okay but the sushi rice needed improvement as some parts were slightly undercooked and the seasoning was off. I would give this place a soft 2.5 stars.
Enjoyed our sushi rolls today. Service was fast and rolls and miso soup was tasty. No problem getting a table at 1 pm
Our family visited this restaurant since it opened years ago, it used to be our favorite place. Back then, the quality was excellent and they always had fresh seafood. Then the quality went down progressively. The sushi rolls that we ordered taste so dry. I don't think I'll visit again.
