The salmon rice bowl is delicious. One bowl is satisfying enough. I want to try other rice bowls because I love them. (I am Japanese)
The portions are generous at this restaurant and the prices are very reasonable. The service is quick and efficient. Be sure to try the Octopus carpaccio.
We have ordered take out and also had a dinner at the restaurant. The quality of the food is very good in both cases. We order the take out House Tray, combination of different sushi rolls and nigiri. The portions are generous. When we ate in, we had a special roll (BC roll topped with spicy tuna), the yam and prawn tempura, which was excellent, and smelt karaage, which was a little "fishy". Eat-in service was a little slow but we were not in a hurry.
Went there on a Friday afternoon because it was highly recommended by a family member but was thoroughly disappointed. Ordered a bento box with zaru soba, some nigiri pieces and a namasu and NONE of them impressed. In fact, they were hardly edible. The noodles were overlooked and soggy, fishes were way too fishy and large, and rice wasn't seasoned properly. Tamago was dripping with water and felt like it just came out of a freezer. NOTHING was prepared properly. I'm not sure how the other reviewers came to their conclusions, but I'm staying away from this place.
