Ricky's Cafe - Burnaby

I thought maybe they were just busy and my order would be ready soon. However, 20 minutes later, all the other customers before me had received their orders and left (some who had ordered after me). I flagged down a server again and told her I was still waiting for my order. Once again, she brushed me off, saying they were still packing orders. Another order came out and was given to a customer who arrived later than I did. Finally, after 5 more minutes, I was able to flag down the server again. They checked my order and informed me that they didn't have it, then walked away. I couldn't believe it. Why didn't they check when I first arrived and tried to engage with them? There was no follow-up to let me know if they would make my order or if I needed to contact Ubereats and cancel it. There was absolutely no customer service here. They refused to engage with me or have any sort of conversation. In total, I waited about 40 minutes past the original estimated pick-up time before my order was finally ready. When I got home, I realized my order was missing chicken tenders.

My husband had a craving for pancakes, and since we live in Mission, we decided to try a breakfast place recommended by Google. The only issue I had was that the pancake breakfast options were too large. The smallest option I found included 2 pancakes, 2 strips of bacon, 2 sausages, 2 slices of toast, and 2 eggs. I believe a smaller option with just 2 pancakes and 2 eggs would be enough for a senior. Both of us were unable to finish our meals and had to take leftovers home. The waitress who served us was wonderful, very kind, efficient, and pleasant to be around. The atmosphere was perfect. I just think that smaller portions for seniors would be greatly appreciated, as we can't eat as much as we could 30 years ago.

Very happy to eat at Ricky's again after the closing of the boundary location. The food is much better at this location and service is top notch. Pretty bad when I eat at a restaurant twice in a week but the food was that good. All your favourite food plus they will be adding a pizza menu soon. Parking is not bad but it is pay parking. I recommend the burgers as I keep coming back to eat more of them.

Food and server was great. Lack of staff though. Manager running around bearly finding his ground. I’m quite surprise how the restaurant was worn out for only being open for a couple of years. All furniture over used paint chipped. Bring back man and women washroom and stop disrespecting women. Women need a clean place and not to mention kids.

Fantastic! I had the cinnamon bun waffles, and they did not disappoint!Been here before, had some apple-cinnamon waffles, which were also amazing.I will be back, and suggest you do the same
