Contribuisci feedbackI always came here and always recommended the place for my friends to taste their food. I invited my friend to come here today and was completely shocked by food and service. For me it is not personal and although the rule says... the costumer is always right as a customer should You know that sometimes there is not fair on the things that give you a service. But in this case it's different. The first bad impression was where I politely asked to change the given table (in the vicinity of the washroom corridor with another who was hard rejected by a waitress, only NOT to say without emotion or adding suffering it is impossible because... what was OK for me, because nothing is personal again. Finally we were placed and ordered in the enclosed terrace. Let's talk about the food (1xCalifonia roll,1 x Alaska roll, 1xVeggie Mango roll and 1 x Gomae , I can't say it was terrible, but the quality of the rolls was so poor, fighting to have them because they weren't really tight. Please forget to use your hop sticks, it is like you eat an Indian dish with rice. And the last surprise came up while we drink our tea that wasn't ready! we have been asked to go since your 1 hour is done! Are you kidding? I asked her to know that you have a deadline here before you sit, or you should have a note and something in the reception that let the customers know! and what do you think about their answer? I'm sorry, today we were busy and today is a holy day. Thank you for the info that I am today Friday Mam!! I don't come here and I won't recommend the place anymore. There are other options in the neighborhood for you people.
I came here with some working friends, this place is ridiculously expensive and the reels fall apart, very limited menu. Didn't taste good, really bad service. One of my colleagues told me that this place was in the news, but for something you wouldn't imagine. So many people died in this restaurant
Seriously terrible. I'm not one to write reviews as I feel like a lot of time when it's not great, I just move on. But not this time. I feel like an PUBLIC DISSERVICE to say nothing because this place is serious...not fresh. It is extremely dangerous to eat in a place that does not serve fresh RAW fish. I've been acting as a patron since she opened, and I've moved out of the country in recent years, so I haven't been back for over two years. When I came back, I believed Sushi, so I decided to get some of them. You told me to be there in 15 minutes, and I was there on that point. I picked up my sushi, made sure it was safe and went home, which is only a 5 minute drive. If you come out, there is still 15% tip LOL, which I usually do not, as I know, most of the shops are fighting with Kovid but this time I DEFINITELY MIND. When I go home, I open the boxes and a part of the sushi is broken, which is very strange when I drove super carefully and there were no sudden stops or anything. I tried a few pieces and immediately it tasted. I looked exactly and said that the Avocado BROWN was that they weren't even interested enough to scrape it off. The deep-fried yam on a roll was SOGGY. What clearly means that it sits for a long time and it doesn't matter to give you fresh yam even though you paid for it. The salmon tasted so, from texture and taste, you can clearly say IT is NOT FRESH. The rest of the sushi was literally no reason extremely salty. I wondered if I were paranoid, so I went online to look at their reviews. If you look at the last one, you'll see it's all a star. For lack of good Kovid security practices you guess, NOT FRESH SUSHI. I feel honestly sick after the pieces, I threw everything else away into the garbage (where it belongs) and it was the biggest waste of money, as their sushi is not even cheap and there are 100 other sushi joints that take care of the food they serve on Kingsway. It's really a shame that you guys can serve this kind of food to your customers. From the reviews you can clearly say that they don't care about their males or their business. I don't know where you are. I never give you my business again.
It was my birthday and for the first time in a year we met with closed family friends. There were 7 people in our group and 2 had to stay in a separate table. We understand that, of course, but the older woman who served... has made it a point to Huff and Puff and show her frustration that we were 7 although we say that the 2 other people would stay in a separate table. It was a slow night for them and of course so many stories were shared during our meal. I have deliberately checked whether there is a line, but there were no empty tables around. My group stayed almost 3 hours, food and order food. Then, as we were ready to go, you cleaned the lights in our section! We were the only ones to eat there, so we know it was on us and we were so shocked!! How rude! Perhaps we have overtaken our welcome, but there are many other ways to leave us without turning off the lights. I was so embarrassed! Especially after I had recommended this place, as I had birthday and graduation dinners here last year. To make it even worse than my friends made a joke to the staff that you want to leave us so you can turn off the lights that they don't even deny, nor have they apologized: we never eat here again!
Ordered the sushi sashimi combo. All sashimi was warm n off tasting Tuna looked like escolar. They also for to give me soy sauce on my takeout order. When i called to inquire why i didnt recieve the soy sauce. I could here the manager...laughing about it. 1st n last time i go there. So many better places in and around burnaby. Do not waste your money here
