My wife was curious about this place, I like Japanese food and this concept was new and interesting. She ordered the courses and good thing that you can make them combos for few extra bucks, we did, my 5 yo, wife and me pay almost 60 bucks. We have problem to be told the right place to park until a server (other) gave us the right directions, then, I have to grab my car and park it the right place. Then our server just disappeared and later understand she got on break, no issue with that, but no one to keep servicing us. I asked something else to other server and never got what I asked, had to wait 10 minutes to see a different (I assumed that she just started her shift) server and asked what I ordered. It was good experience but when I think to go to some other places before consider to come back again, means that did not gave me that “experience” that make the visits something to remember again (to try it again).

This time I ordered Beef Udon my friend ordered Curry Udon and we add some Tempura and Katsu. In my opinion, this place the best Japanese restaurant in Vancouver. All foods prepared really fast. Ebi tempura is insane.. It was hot and crispy and fresh. The flavor of Udon soup and Curry soup was rich and yum The katsu OMG so Juicy and crispy+ price is very reasonable. I love it. So far I’ve here to eat more that 5 times, every single experience was amazing. Tendon Kohaku never let me down. Sincerely praise the Kohaku !
