Noodles were soft and chewing and the soup was delicious. The pork bell rice dish was very delicious. The...pork belly was soft and tasteful and covered with a thick, sweet soy sauce.
I haven't had Ramen for years because I closed the place. My wife suggested Yaguchiya as she had been here before. I wasn't disappointed. We both had the spicy rams that I wanted to get big, but, it was said that I was... medium. We added gyoza amd small salad to our order. OMG was great. Ate all mine and some of my wife. Medium is a pretty good size, I'm a big guy and it was filling out. The place was small and cozy. Excellent food for a rainy day
I was here a few times. Serving is good at his price. Char Siu is delicate and very tasty. I think that would be my goal for affordable rams in the vicinity of Burnaby.
Had some shopping facilities in Metrotown and was recommended by a friend. The place is a little small, but I was lucky to sit right away. Fast and friendly staff. The house was recommended. The soup was hot and delicious and the noodle portion was quite generous. I'll try another one next time!
I had the large shoyu ramen. The bowl was stuffed with thick ramen noodles, so much so that there was little broth. The ramen was noodles, chashu, nori and a bit of spinach: nothing else. If you like basic ramen, then this is the place...for you. If you like a bit more in your ramen, you might find this a bit bland. We sat at the bar and the food came very quickly. The server seemed a bit spaced out, but took our order promptly, so I can't really complain. Overall, a fine, if nothing special, lunch.
