Contribuisci feedbackUpon arrival at the cafe, we were warmly greeted by a friendly staff member. When we inquired about a table for two, we were informed that they were very busy. The employee consulted with someone who appeared to be the manager and we were rudely informed that we would not be able to be served as all the tables waiting for food were abruptly cleared. Disappointed, we decided to leave and headed to Burnett Heads takeaway where we enjoyed delicious Red Emperor. Needless to say, we will not be returning to the cafe. Thank you for nothing!
Was a couple of mixed reviews before going. great location on the water with stunning views of the marina, which gives the restaurant enormous potential for fine dining. but waitstaff (owners? were not exactly warm and welcoming, not at all personally. didn't ask how food was, no smiling. the eating itself was their average pubic meal equivalent. salat looked dry as if you had left the food in the refrigerator for a dam. fish was dry, nothing to write home. decorate them in certain necessity of updating. would give a 3/10. it's a no one of me.
The owner and his wife of this restaurant were rude and lacked manners, needing to work on their hospitality skills. The food and atmosphere were enjoyable, but the owner's attitude was a negative aspect of the experience. The red wine was served too cold compared to the beer, and when questioned, the owner's response was that it was standard practice in Queensland. However, it is commonly served at room temperature. Additionally, it was pointed out that Chardonnay and Riesling are white wines, not red.
I had an amazing lunch today. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the staff was beautiful. The restaurant itself was also beautiful. Thank you. Jill Buckmaster.
