I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My food arrived 30 minutes late despite being told it was on its way at 7:10pm. When I called to ask about it, I was told they had accidentally hit the delivery button. The pickle tray I ordered turned out to be 2 tubs of mango and chilli sauce, with no onions, for £1.95. I had to order an extra mango chutney for 50p. The rogan josh was just lamb and gravy, not the usual onions and tomatoes. The gravy tasted a little gritty. There was also a small piece of plastic in my chicken korma. The naans were the best part of the meal, but overall, I was not impressed. I know some people who like this place, but I won't be returning.

Having noticed this restaurant for the first time when alighting from the train at Burnley Manchester Rd station I decided to give it a try. What a hidden gem! There is a small amount of on street parking outside, other than that there is the station car park. The restaurant is well decorated and modernistic in style. The only negative I can give is that the restaurant was relatively empty and when I walked in no staff were to be seen and it was almost 5 minutes before I was shown to my table. This all added to a slight lack of atmosphere. However, once shown to my table I could find no fault at all. The menu has most of the usual favourites as well as some stylish English dishes. There is a small selection of alcoholic drinks. I went for the sheek kebab starter which was first class. The dish was extremely well presented with a side salad with a delicious dressing. For main I had the chicken korahi which again had the most sublime flavour being both spicy and of very generous portion size. This was served with a plain naan which also didn’t disappoint. Apart from the service issue on entering the restaurant I couldn’t fault anything. I shall certainly pay a repeat visit and I can thoroughly recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine.

Having spent a long day watching Ashes cricket on our return we dropped in. First visit, wont be the last. Great food,friendly service and excellent value. Service continued after we left as we had left a bag containing a phone, wallet etc. Having called us to establish the situation they very kindly delivered the left items to our address within 15 minutes. Good honest people delivering quality food at reasonable prices with an exceptional level of service. We also have you down for our next take away. 10/10 in all areas.
