Red's Savoy Pizza - Burnsville

Stopped in on a whim for the first time since moving to Burnsville, I'm only 5 minutes away. Definitely a good impulse. I was rung up by the driver who said the homerun was his favourite pizza. I'm inclined to agree. I was skeptical of sauerkraut since I really don't seek it out, but it paired with the giardinara was a really tasty combo. I loved the sausage, too. The spice was excellent. I'd have liked my crust a little less flimsy, though. It was a bit of a sloppy pizza. I'll have to try a well done style next time and see how that compares. Definitely will order again sometime. The staff seemed nice and friendly with each other and the guy who rung me up seemed like a real and cool guy.

We ordered so our son could eat before soccer, estimated delivery time of 43 minutes, arrived over 45 minutes after that. He was already at soccer...

Pretty basic, not bad, not super memorable. Handy to grab a quick slice at lunch. Limited topings. Cheesy bread was ok, maybe a bit above average. If you near by great grab some, but probably not really worth going much out of your way.

Love Savoys Pizza! Every time I go in there it’s delicious! The sauerkraut pizza (The Eastsider, I believe) is AMAZING!
