Shogun Japanese Steakhouse - Burnsville

The staff was very friendly, and watching the hibachi chefs was a delightful experience. The green salad was excellent, although I didn’t take a picture of it. I ordered the fried chicken hibachi, along with rice and hibachi noodles.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite after my surgery. I ordered the Volcano Roll and an onion soup. It was the best maki I’ve ever had, and I was really impressed by the impressive presentation. The service was great, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was outstanding. We live in Maple Grove, but I’ll definitely be back for that roll!

After we left Benihana because of an issue with our reservation, we decided to try Shogun instead—and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! The decor is stunning, the food was exceptional, and our server, Mickey, was outstanding. He was engaging, humorous, and incredibly positive. Without a doubt, it was a 5-star experience, and we’ve now made it our go-to place for family birthdays!

The Habachi dinner was worth the money. The food was delicious. I had the chicken and salmon and the other two with my party had the steak. The cook was on the spot. The waitress was also amazing. Before we fled from our drinks, she came by with refills, we always had empty plates that she had passed over and had taken along immediately. This was a great experience since it was our first time here and was my daughter's birthday. We're definitely going back.
