Major Curry Affair Burntwood

Cheeky Mid Week curry night with friends. 1st time here and we'll go back, the food was beautiful and the Salmon Tikka was divine.

I recently had the best curry I have had in the past two years at Firewood, which we all agreed was outstanding. I ordered the Tandoori Baji today and each dish was of a high standard, fresh, and delicious. Before placing my order, I checked their online reviews and they have received great feedback, including a 5-star hygiene rating, which is reassuring to know when dining at a restaurant. I had been searching for a decent curry without luck, but now I have finally found it. I will not be going anywhere else for curry, thank you for the excellent food and service. I typically do not tip, but I will start doing so from now on because it is well worth it.

The experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. Our food was 25 minutes late (for takeout) and tasted terrible. It was too spicy, full of tomatoes, and had no flavor at all. We paid £60 for the three of us and felt dissatisfied and disappointed. This level of service is absolutely unacceptable, especially during these times of increasing expenses. We would not recommend this restaurant.

This was our first time ordering from this restaurant and we chose to get takeout. I would definitely recommend it to others. The staff was friendly when we picked up our order and the decor looked clean and fresh. Thank you!
