Cooper's Hawk Winery Burr Ridge

We had a fantastic time at the wine tasting, perhaps even indulging more than we intended. The host was incredibly funny and very kind—truly outstanding! It was the first time I felt so wonderfully welcomed. I believe he is a band director by profession, which adds to his excellent personality! Both the winter white wine and the red wine were absolutely delicious. I even came back after dinner to buy the chocolate wine. Thank you again for a great experience!

I made a reservation and anticipated being seated in the dining area; however, I was placed in the bar section, which was extremely noisy. On the plus side, the food and service were outstanding.

I had dinner with friends, and it was quite noisy, making it really difficult to have a conversation. We won't be returning on a Friday night. I ordered the fish and chips; the fish and coleslaw were tasty, but the fries were cold. The other dishes were just okay.

This particular facility was a big disappointment for lunch with friends. I 've enjoyed the Oak Park location and was hoping to have the same experience in Burr Ridge Nothing was 'terrible ', but nothing was good to outstanding either.

Thank you Cooper's Hawk for always being so accommodating. We are wine club member's and usually have a bottle of wine with dinner, but this time we were there for lunch and simply had a glass each. My wife had one of the newer ones and we did not think to ask about the price per glass. After our lunch we got the bill and her glass of wine was $17.50!! We understand this was on us but asked the server to confirm if this was correct and she said it was. While we were not happy, we understood that we failed to ask about the glass cost. She said she will talk to the manager if we were not happy. Again, we are always happy with Cooper's Hawk service but were floored at the price of the glass. After speaking with manager, the server was able to remove that glass cost from the check. Thank you so much for going above and beyond to take care of this. We now know, ordering a glass of wine- ask for the price first!!!
