Jumbucks Restaurant - BURRA

We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. Our waiter Joanus made us feel welcome and provided excellent service. The Chef Rob was excellent, he discussed the menu with us and the food was delicious and cooked to perfection. There is railway memorabilia in the restaurant and a must visit for a railway enthusiast. The adjoining Burra Motor Inn is excellent to stay at. We enjoyed our time in Burra and recommend this restaurant and accommodation.

We recently dined at the re opened Jumbucks restaurant.. The ambiance was beautiful with great old fashioned service .. The meals were great , the steaks on the large size which meant we had to forfeit desert sadly . Jonas our waiter was very friendly and made our visit memorable .. Would highly recommend it.

The restaurant had a limited food selection and was out of fish when we went (we were the second group there). They only had two white wines available by the glass. My wife ordered an espresso martini cocktail, which caused some confusion on how to make it, and it was just okay. The service was very friendly and efficient, but it seemed like the one person working was overwhelmed. The room was filled with fascinating artifacts.

Delicious dinner, fabulous service, warm and delightful atmosphere. Loved the ornaments, paintings, on display and general feel to the restaurant. Hygiene A plus. Next visit to Burra we will be booking a table!

The front of house staff was very welcoming. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and offers top quality food with quick service. I highly recommend it.
