I enjoy the perfect menu, the beautiful nature and garden and the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. i recommend here to all my friends and they have been here also 3-4 times and thanking me for my advice:

I recently celebrated my 50th with friends and family with a Bergische Kaffeetafel here. It’s a bit off the beaten track, but a beautiful location and the fact that it was a sunny day allowed us to also enjoy the outdoor space. The food was lovely and the service exceptional! We really couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend it and we will be back to just have a normal meal some time.

Despite the great location and the decent food, the horrible service completely blew for me. We waited almost two hours for our food, only to hear that the landlady did not enjoy her job as it was to stressful. Kept me wondering how she thought we are enjoying our empty stomachs...

After a walk in the ruins we had a great place in the beautiful and large garden directly on the wupper. the table arrangement is generous and you had enough space. at super weather was the andrang very big, but our waiter was on zack and has supplied us with tasty plum cake and waffeln best.

We came for high tea for a birthday party , very peaceful ,beautiful setting lovely walk along the river
