We vacationed about 1 hour away from here and thought it would be a cute place to visit and shop. The drive was way more interesting and entertaining than this place. Only a handful of shops are open. They sell “stuff”. I thought we would find some really great souvenirs pertaining to Lake Ontario and the area. The stores sold stuff you can find anywhere. The walking area is really small. I thought there would be a decent size boardwalk to take a stroll on. 10 steps and you’ve walked the “boardwalk”. A couple of stores limited the number of people allowed inside at one time due to Covid. This was not a problem since there was hardly anyone there anyway. This place just isn’t worth it for tourists. Maybe if you live there and need a tchotchke gift or a scoop of ice cream, this is the place for you.

My girlfriend has been wanting to get back to the stores here and decided to make a break for some sanity and took in the shops. Most of them were open and the weather was great that day. The shops had hand sanitizer available and were making sure only a few people in store at a time. It wasn't overly busy and had a pleasant experience. It is beautiful by the water and everyone in the stores is helpful and pleasant. Nice way to spend the day
