Fusion Cafe - Burwood

Despite the low rating on Zomato, don't be discouraged - this cafe is one of our favorite spots to visit. As the name suggests, Fusion offers a unique blend of Eastern and Western flavors commonly found in Hong Kong cuisine. Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack or a full meal, this place has something for everyone. We particularly enjoy stopping by for their afternoon tea special, offered from 2:30pm onwards.

I don't understand why this place has such a low rating. I personally found the food to be quite good. Last time, my friend ordered the congee and it came in a huge portion, like the size of a noodle soup bowl.

However, I have found that their other dishes are not as memorable. One issue I have encountered is that when the restaurant is busy, the wait time can exceed 45 minutes without any warning to the customer. This has happened to me twice out of the 10 times I have visited, once on a weekday evening at 6:30pm and once on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm.

My go-to place when I can't be bothered to cook and feel like healthier food (well they claim their food is msg-free). Love their congee and baked rice.

We came back again as it was easy to get a table for two during the busy Saturday midday hours. there are now some new restaurants located near the train station in burwood. these new places have taken the business from old. like fusion. that eat this time gets 3.5, service 3 and worth for money 4 stars. overall we are happy and come back.
