White sangria nowhere near as any I have had in Portugal. But the real reason for writing this is I have never left a restaurant where I have left after eating everythin offered and still feeling hungry. Well I have now . We ordered £30 of tapas which we thought would suffice for two but when I am having to cut a single pork belly chop into 2 at a cost of £10 you get the gist . I am not proud to say this but when we went to our local pub in Edgworth The Black Bull we had to order 2 small dishes of food as still hungry .I have never have had to do this in my life. I wouldn't say do not go but I was very disappointed and hungry
First visit since pre covid. Wasn't expecting the fresh new menu, the food was delicious- I mean absolutely delicious. Noticed some changes , definitely more staff in the kitchen than just Rachel. What I love about Baraxturi is the relaxed vibe. Order a bit of food, have a beer relax. Order something else. Nothing is rushed but food comes to you in enough time to keep you nibbling. Why is this the only tapas restaurant in England that knows how to serve tapas. Loved the vegetables cooked in the embers of the fire, loved the almond chicken thigh, loved the Hake, in fact it was all delicious. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't order the Txuleta rib Steak because we would not be able to eat it so we will be coming back with 2 more people so we can share it next time! Baraxturi is the most authentic Spanish restaurant in Manchester. Keep doing what you do and never leave Ramsbottom please.
Lovely food and was served by a lovely waitress. We were sat towards the right of the restaurant and right next to the food pass. There was a young man working who seemed like he was still training, he was stood behind us for the whole time obviously listening to our conversation as every now and then he joined our conversation which we found quite rude and off putting. We was there for about an hour and 45 minutes and within that time he was probably stood behind our table for about an hour and 40 minutes of this not doing much. I appreciate he is probably new to the job however when we are having a nice meal and there’s a member of staff just staring at us and listening in to our conversations it’s not what you want. Overall, a nice experience.
I wish I could give this restaurant a great review, but unfortunately, 20 minutes before our reservation, we were informed that there were no tables available, despite booking weeks in advance! We do not live in Ramsbottom, so this was a special taxi journey for us, and we were not given any prior warning of the issue. I would advise diners to double-check before making the trip.
Located in central Manchester within Freight Island, this restaurant is a hidden gem within a buzzing building site. With a variety of food options and live music available on-site, it is a fantastic experience. There is also a great selection of free music and other dining options available, similar to Belin. Don't hesitate to visit this place!
