The portion sizes at this restaurant are very small, and the prices are extremely high. Despite spending £270 for a meal for four people, we left feeling still hungry and significantly poorer.
It's appreciated that kosher food and its preparation incur additional costs. Even so, this meal wasn't worth the money. Over £160.00 for four people, two alcoholic drinks, no starters. Just four portions of mains, plus a desert. The food quality was good, but the portions were fairly small. Service was adequate, though amateurish. It's not really a dining out experience. The restaurant is drab. By the end of our meal, the waitress was ironing tablecloths in the actual restaurant. Can't recommend at any level unless this establishment seriously ups its game.
The food at this restaurant is made fresh, so be prepared to wait a bit, but it's definitely worth it. The prices are reasonable for the high quality of the dishes. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming.
I will not be returning to this restaurant. The portions were extremely small, with the main meal being served in a side dish. The food was just okay, nothing special. When I questioned the service charge, the server didn't even react. Overall, poor value and a sense of complacency that is typical of kosher establishments mixed with Chinese aloofness. I would recommend avoiding this place.
