Sally's Bakes - Bury

I have frequently visited Sally's at Bury Market and sampled their pasties and a variety of baked goods. Everything I tried was delicious, particularly the vegan cream eggs!

I found out about Sally's Bakes on Facebook, and when I visited Bury, I had to stop by to try their pasties. They have a wide variety, including many gluten-free options, as well as cakes and brownies. I opted for a sweet potato pasty that was gluten-free, and it was delightful. The crust was beautifully crisp and not soggy at all, filled with a wonderful mixture. It would have been fantastic to take home, warm it up, and add some vegan gravy, but sitting on a bench with a coffee on a cool June afternoon made it absolutely perfect.

I absolutely love this stall! Sally is a passionate vegan and an incredibly talented baker. Everything here is delicious. I especially adore the pastries, which are far better than what you might find elsewhere. The cakes are simply wonderful. As someone who is relatively new to veganism, I've found Sally to be very helpful and encouraging.
