Beautiful setting, friendly and amazing food. Could have hidden gem for longer

We removed this restaurant from our list after a new chef took it the wrong way, however, I am very pleased to say that the restaurant has recently reverted to traditional cuisine. The menu is not huge but does have some lovely food, with dishes available for everyone including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. It is well worth a visit

We had our second visit back for the Sunday lunch and were hugely disappointed compared to the previous visit. Portions were a lot smaller, no cauliflower cheese this time and the beef was tough and the chicken didn't look cooked. The Sunday menus hadnt been put into the holders, this happened the first time we went. One of the waitresses was wearing a gilet; not a very professional look for the venue. Overall, it was highly overpriced for what you get which is a shame as it has always been very good in the past.

Been here a few times but first visit since new dining area has been opened. Nice atmosphere. Food and service to a good standard, as normal.

The menu and choice was lack lust and the pre ration and taste of food mediocre. Very dissapointing
