Godfrey’s - Bushey

This might be the best fish and chips I've ever had! The tartar sauce was outstanding as well. I will definitely be returning for my next takeaway.

Fantastic restaurant with top-notch fish and chips! Once you try Godfreys, you'll wonder why you ever went anywhere else for fish and chips. The staff is delightful, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is wonderful (when it's open). I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Nice big squid. Too bad they don't do matzomeal, so if I want that, I'll go to the sea to the road instead. chips appear double boiled. update: unfortunately bushey godfreys has been closed for at least 9 months. I don't think it will be reopened.

Exceedingly tasty fish and chips, cooked fresh, different sizes of fish and chips which is most welcome so there is no waste, and with a delicious home made tartare sauce. Can't wait to visit my parents again soon so we can eat this again!
