I attempted to reach out to them several times about hosting our wedding at their venue. Unfortunately, we either received no response or were abruptly hung up on. It seems we weren't the type of guests they are looking for.
This restaurant has an excellent location for those seeking privacy and tranquility. The rooms are nice and clean, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. There are plenty of nearby activities to enjoy, such as hiking trails, gun ranges, and canoeing, making it perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.
I was up that way yesterday to see a football game at the high school. I used to work at this resort 20 years ago when it was called Pocmont. I did a quick drive-thru to see what it looks like nowadays and it is absolutely disheveled. There was a man and woman standing outside one of the cabins yelling at me to get out of there and I have no idea what that was about. It's a public road so chill out. There were two other people in matching shirts standing outside where the kitchen used to be watering a small patch of grass. The lake there which used to be really nice is now full of lily pads and looks disgusting. There are hay bales outside of the main entrance. The pool looks like it hasn't been cleaned in forever. I'm not even sure this resort is open. Shame.
Very nice quiet chilled atmosphere.. Game room, Pool, Tennis Courts, Gym, (Mini Library) all on Campus premises...Rooms: 4/5
