Sonny's Bbq - Bushnell

I ordered the wings and ribs, and both were delicious and served piping hot. They were dry, but I was able to add my choice of sauces. All three sauces—original, smoke, and sizzling—were good, though I found the sizzling sauce wasn't very spicy. The smoke sauce had a nice smoky flavor. I also tried the fries and mac and cheese, which were just okay. If they offered fresh-cut fries and a bacon or brisket mac and cheese, it would have been a 5-star experience. I will definitely come back to try more!

The customer service was fantastic! Betty and Devin were both very friendly and helpful! The food was delicious and came out very quickly! I enjoyed everything that I tried! I would highly recommend the sampler with mac and cheese and coleslaw and the pork egg rolls! It was all delicious!

This was my first visit to Bushnell, and I chose to have lunch at Sonny’s. The greeter seemed to be having a rough day, but we were fortunate to have Ashlynn as our waitress. She was professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. I mentioned that I wished I had a little more French fries with my meal, and, sure enough, a whole basket arrived at my table! I ordered the beef brisket sandwich while my girlfriend opted for the sweet Carolina sandwich. Both sandwiches were served hot and fresh within minutes. They were both outstanding, and the service was exceptional as well! I really hope to come back soon.

My grandpa just passed away this month and Sonny’s was one of his favorite restaurants. My family came here after his memorial service for dinner and they did a wonderful job taking care of our very large crowd. We had 40+ people which I’m sure they weren’t expecting but they fed us all great food and I’m sure my grandpa would’ve been proud. Thank you all so much and sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused to the lovely people who work here.

The food was absolutely delicious! I had the all-you-can-eat baby back ribs, which were fantastic. The customer service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was lovely. This restaurant runs things smoothly, and I will definitely be returning with friends!
