There is a great array of tasty treats and spicy offerings to tempt the taste buds. While sipping our coffee we surveyed the butcher's fare. Needless to say we walked out with some very delicious Indonesian style and regular butcher items to cook up at home. All up, service, presentation, and quality of food on offer was of a very high quality. So much so that we have been back twice more. Highly recommend it.
Been here a number of times, when we visit busselton. this cafe never disappoints.we like the coffee, the service is fantastic, the food range changes, and every day sees different specials.,but old favorites remain. the fresh juices are epic and nearly a meal in themselves. occasionally, they make big fat buttery sausage rolls, using their 'in house' spicy balinese sausages. i,m trying to lose weight, and i normally hate sausage rolls, but one of these is like dying and going to heaven. they,ve got a gourmet butcher shop as well. occasionally they have 21 day, dry aged beef steaks. the T bones and scotch fillets are just crazy-good .melt in the mouth.
We have walked past this cafe a few times and always said "we must go in and have a look". this week we finally went in and were very pleasantly surprised.....what a fabulous place full of many delicious smells to tantalise the taste buds.....we finally settled for mie goreng and tuna patties and were very happy with our choicenot only was the food and coffee perfect - the staff were great too Asia and Bali in Busso - fantastic!!
A little more pricey than Australian food court stall prices for Asian street food, some were tasty like the beef dish that offered delicious flavours and some not so, like the Green Pawpaw salad could have easily been confused for a tasteless coleslaw. A dash of lime juice and a touch of sambal could have addressed that shortcoming. The noodles were probably packet noodles (nothing unusual here because many of the street food stalls use the same). But the butcher’s section of “…the Market” starred - had a range of marinated meat products and specialty meat cuts from where we bought some chicken sausages marinated in Balinese inspired flavours that were to die for.
I was sitting in my car waiting for my husband, dog on lap, and I kept looking at the business that was next to where we are parked, but I was overwhelmed by the spicy aromas emanating from that business. I had to get out and go inside and have a look. Everything looked delicious and fresh and smelled so good I felt even hungrier! When my husband arrived we went inside and decide on a takeaway of Vietnamese honey chicken, beef Rogan josh, and Nasi Goreng, with the best chilli sambal, and homemade melting moments to put us in a complete food coma! 10/10 for everything, including the lovely women behind the counter!
