I first visited this restaurant in 2012, and when I revisited today, I noticed that the environment and ambiance had improved. However, the taste of the food is no longer the same as it was at Butterworth Cafe. I ordered the chicken Cordon Bleu (which tasted like plain chicken breast), black pepper chicken (too salty), and mushroom soup (too salty and served cold). I hope that the owner of the restaurant can make improvements to bring back the original taste and reputation of Butterworth Cafe, which has been around since 1958.
The restaurant offers delicious Western cuisine at an affordable price.
The restaurant has a charming and traditional setting. The food, while straightforward, is delicious. The staff are friendly, attentive, and provide fast service. The prices are reasonable. The only downside is that parking may be limited, so it's best to park across the street and walk over or find a spot along the road.
Nice, simple and friendly place. Food is good too. Was there early to avoid the crowd, manage to get good parking. Service was friendly.
Staff are very friendly n helpful. Food tastes very nice, we had steak, lamb chop, salmon, pizza and Italian sausage. Will definitely come again. It would be great if have nasi goreng, just a suggestion because my mum fancy nasi goreng, but the rest of us are very happy of this place.
