We dined at this Marston's pub after completing a 16km hike, and we were impressed by the enormous portion sizes and quick, friendly service. It was definitely good value for money. However, the burger we had was a bit rubbery. Overall, it was a nice experience!

We visited Buxton for a week-long stay and chose this pub for our first dinner on a Saturday night. We were not disappointed! We found a table where we could watch the football, and the food was excellent. In fact, it was so good that we returned on Wednesday when we met a lovely older couple who live nearby and are regulars here. Overall, this place offers a great selection of beers, fantastic food, a wonderful atmosphere, and friendly staff. I will definitely return on my next visit to Buxton!

The beer tastes better in the sun, haha! It was a beautiful day today. I sat outside enjoying the sunshine while the children played in the pool inside. The food was really delicious and reasonably priced. I also tried the local beer banks and really enjoyed it. Everything was very easy and relaxed!
