Really nice eating. we had Sunday, bark roast meat. local products. friendly staff. large parking spaces. a beautiful long walk on the side. added to my to-do again list

Amazing pub with amazing food. Have been there twice in the past couple of days. We booked in advance because they don't usually take walk ins due to how busy they get. Service was really quick and made us feel welcomed as soon as we were seated. Dinner was amazing wr had starters main and dessert. There was an issue with the specials board and that it hadn't been updated so the food that was ordered wasn't what was expected. However staff rectified quickly and offered us a free dessert for those who were affected. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is in the area.

Just a great pub. Lovely food. Mega service. No daft prices. If you’re in the area looking for an easy and nice feed on an evening this place fits the bill.

First class. Friendly staff, who actually seem interested in serving you. A well stocked bar, an experienced, knowledgeable barman. The food was excellent. Well presented, generous portions, served by pleasant young people who are going to have a great career in the catering industry. Don’t miss this place, it’s off the beaten track. Find it.

Well done guys! I came here a few years ago and remembered a good meal but it was after a long walk so maybe not a reliable memory! We’ve just had a lovely fully loaded Sunday roast. The service is friendly and prompt and the ambience is welcoming. There is even a little quiet corner to sit and read. I’d definitely come back and recommend.
