This time, I placed my order on Menulog about an hour before the restaurant opened. The order was accepted and confirmed once the restaurant opened, and the food was delivered on time. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, deep-fried duck with plum sauce, steamed rice, and grilled crackers. The food was hot and delicious, with the duck being particularly tasty. The chicken wasn't as crispy, likely due to being packed in a plastic container for delivery. It would be better for the restaurant to consider using paper bags for their deep-fried items like other places, to maintain the crispiness. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal. However, I was a bit taken aback by the $10 delivery fee, which seems high compared to Uber's maximum of $7.99 for a similar distance. The prices of the food itself were slightly on the higher side of reasonable.
This is the third time I have tried to order food from Dragon Inn using Menulog, and it's the third time my order has been rejected. This means I will have to wait for a refund from Menulog for the third time. It's completely unacceptable. If Dragon Inn is unable to fulfill orders through Menulog, I recommend that they stop using the Menulog platform altogether. I am extremely dissatisfied.
It has been about 18 months since my last unsuccessful attempt to order from this restaurant. This time, I placed an order via Menulog about an hour before the restaurant opened. The order was accepted and confirmed once the restaurant opened. The food arrived on time and was hot and tasty. I ordered sweet and sour chicken (battered), deep-fried duck with plum sauce, steamed rice, and prawn crackers. The duck was especially delicious. The battered chicken was not very crispy, possibly due to being packed in a plastic tub for delivery. It might be better for the restaurant to package their deep-fried items in paper bags to preserve the crispy batter, like other establishments do. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal. However, I question the $10 delivery charge, which seems high compared to Uber's maximum charge of $7.99 for a similar distance. The prices of the food itself are slightly on the expensive side of reasonable.
Customer service was very good, welcoming and good phone decor. Easy to order bought meat spring rolls, df Dim sum, df duck with orange sauce and soft noodle chicken Chow my for Takeaway. The food was moderate in taste/taste. The chicken chow mine had a light fish taste, not sure why. We were most disappointed with the orange sauce. My favorite Chinese food back to the states is orange chicken (corresponding to honey soy chicken in appearance and sauce) so I had high hopes for it. It tasted more like volatile sweet and acidic sauce. They only taste it for a second or two, then it's gone. It was nice to try as we are new locals, but will not eat again as it does not WOW me.
This is the third time that I tried to order food from Dragon Inn via Menulog, and the third time the order was rejected, and therefore the third time I have to wait 5 7 days for a refund from Menulog. Total... unacceptable. If Dragon Inn cannot meet orders on Menulog, I suggest that they withdraw from the Menulog system as a whole. Very, very unhappy.
