Wahlburgers - Cabazon

Wow, their food is amazing! I had to try one of the burgers, and it was honestly the best burger I've ever had. They cooked it exactly how I like it. Plus, Mom's chili is fantastic; the meat is incredibly tender. I will definitely be going back again and even ordered some to take home!

I had a pleasant experience at Wahlburgers, though I found it wasn't quite on par with Shake Shack or Smashburger. Nevertheless, I would still recommend checking out Wahlburgers because the patties are truly exceptional! I also suggest trying their tater tots, which are fried to perfection. Just a heads-up, Wahlburgers can be quite pricey; while I don't believe it fully justifies the cost, the food is still tasty to me. They do offer Impossible Burger options and gluten-free buns, but surprisingly, they don’t have wheat buns available. If you're looking for a good time, this burger joint is enjoyable, especially with its bar and multiple large screens for sports fans.

I discovered Wahlburgers tucked away in the back corner of Morongo, right by the promotions desk, and decided to give it a try. I ordered the double-decker burger with bacon, accompanied by some thin onion ring strings and a Wahlbrewski. The burger was delicious—though slightly on the smaller side—the flavors were exceptional, with perfectly cooked onions, pickles, and some amazing bacon. However, the onion rings were somewhat disappointing; they were too thin for my taste, and I wouldn't choose them again. On the bright side, the brewski was excellent, with just the right amount of hops. I would definitely return for more!

I had been really looking forward to my visit to Wahlburgers after binge-watching all the seasons of the show, but unfortunately, I ended up feeling quite let down. The only thing that seemed upscale was the price. We ordered two burgers, a side of tater tots, a side of fries, and two drinks, and the bill came to a shocking $47! The fries were just okay, the tater tots tasted like they were straight out of a frozen bag, and the burgers were greasier than I anticipated. While I'm glad I gave it a try, neither my wife nor I plan to go back. Fast food places like In-N-Out or even Wendy's offer better taste at half the cost. Additionally, I wasn't impressed with the sauce at all. It's disappointing—we had such high hopes for a tasty burger, but it just didn't meet them. I’m only giving it two stars because my dog enjoyed it!

Honestly, it's hard to believe how disappointing this restaurant is, particularly being located in Morongo. As a professional chef, I can confidently say that the salmon salad we ordered was not worth the $15.95 we paid for it.
