Kimberley Sands Resort - CABLE BEACH

The hotel is beautiful, and the room was quite nice. The pool area is lovely as well. However, when we arrived in the evening, the place felt deserted, including the reception, which created a lack of atmosphere. The restaurant was closed, and we had trouble finding anywhere to eat, so we ended up having no dinner. The next morning, we had an early departure, and once again, the restaurant was closed, so we left without breakfast.

Good location walking distance to Cable beach. Rooms and pool area looking tired and in need of repair and maintenance. Not enough shade umbrellas and pool lounges dirty/mouldy. Should be 3 star hotel. Too expensive for what you get.

We were placed in the wrong room, a double instead of a twin with single beds. Eventually, we got moved to the correct room, but it was not air-conditioned. The room itself was in poor condition, with a hole in the floor, non-functioning lights, broken switches, and a very small bathroom. The staff seemed uninterested and couldn't even provide directions to important locations. Fortunately, I asked for help and managed to find it early enough, as the buses only run every hour. We stayed for two nights without any service, not even a replenishment of coffee supplies for the instant coffee provided. There were also no bath towels in the room. Five stars? No. Three stars? Maybe, but it doesn’t even deserve that.

We had the most incredible meal during our time in Broome. Chef Jéremie is truly exceptional. His dishes not only looked stunning, but they also tasted absolutely exquisite and were executed to perfection. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I can't stop thinking about the amazing food! The service was lovely, and Chef Jéremie is a legend; they are fortunate to have him on the team. Well done!
