La Taverna - Cabo San Lucas

Went here for lunch. There was hardly anyone in the place. We sat outside which was nice, but the view doesn't make up for lousy food and poor service. Won't be back.

This tiny marina restaurant was our overall favorite in Cabo for the money. It's a little off the main hustle because it's located on the marina walk but near the south lands end Senor Frogs. La Taverna is open air on a small deck. It has very good food and service. We had fresh fish filet stuffed with shrimp and scallops with a very tasty Alfredo sauce, all for about $14. If you take fresh fish to them, they will cook it for you. It was a little gem. Very unpretentious. Fun to watch people go by and marina activity.

We went La Taverna with some friends as they had been there before and we were pleasantly surprised with the food and service. La Taverna is on the cruise terminal end of the marina and since a ship wasn't in things were a little slow. Our service was great and they prepared our fish numerous ways and they were all great, we will be back.

I hosted a ladies night at La Taverna the evening before my daughter's wedding. Not only was Chef Justo quick to reply to my emails, but he and his staff created a special menu just for my group. The cozy atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. I will return whenever I am in Cabo!

Conveniently located on the marina. Had excellent blackened sea bass and another local preparation. Very friendly service!!!
