The restaurant is beautiful, quaint and romantic. Service is great. The food was hit and miss. We had a party of 8, a combination of Mexican and American and some liked it and some so so. I would go back.
This family- owned restaurant is a bit out of the way from the bustle of Cabo's marina but it is wellworth a cab ride. The food Rosy and her family prepare is delicious. They have specialty nightThursdays when they have Pozole and the enchaladas are fantastic as well. We have been there several times and have always enjoyed the warm family atmosphere and reasonable prices. If you bring in your catch of the day Rosy will cook it however you like. We are looking forward tocoming back the next time we are in Cabo.
Going to Las Gaviotas de Acapulco was a great experience. It is really nice to be among people who treat you as family and serve a delicious and inexpensive meal. Everyone working there is related. The owner Rosy, makes you feel so welcome. Her Mom, two brothers and one of her sons work there, also. There are photos on the walls that reinforce the "family" image. Try it!
The food is to die for. We brought fresh caught Dorado (Mahi-Mahi) to their restaurant to have cooked and OMG is was the best ever! We had the mother, Rosie, and her brothers there preparing and cooking the food while partaking in frosty cold beers and music. We were there about 5 hours and had the time of our life. Highly recommended!!!GregOak Harbor, WA
